Lip & Chin Fillers
Lip and chin fillers are non-permanent aesthetic treatments using injectable products based on hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the body. The aim is to add fullness to the lips, or a more defined and balanced contour to the chin and jawline, while preserving the natural proportions of the face.
With lip filler, the goal is to preserve a natural lip form and add fullness without excess. With chin filler, the aim is to bring balance to the overall profile of the face by supporting the tip of the chin forward or downward, or by defining the jawline; in some patients this can also visually improve the relationship between the nose and the chin.
The quantity of filler and the points of application are determined by assessing the existing anatomy of the face and the patient's expectations. As the effect is not permanent, the treatment can be repeated over time.
