Dermapen (Microneedling)

Dermapen is an automated, pen-shaped microneedling device that creates thousands of microscopic channels in the surface of the skin. The method is sometimes called “collagen induction therapy”, because the controlled micro-injuries it creates trigger the skin's own production of collagen and elastin.

Needle depth can be adjusted to the area being treated and to the purpose of the treatment. The micro-channels created during the procedure also help serums applied to the skin (mesotherapy products, hyaluronic-acid-based care products) to penetrate more effectively.

When Is It Used?

  • Fine lines and early signs of skin ageing
  • Superficial acne scarring and the appearance of pores
  • Irregularities in skin tone and texture
  • General revitalisation and radiance

Mild redness and a sensation of warmth lasting 24-48 hours may follow the procedure; this is a natural part of healing. It is often called a “lunch break” treatment, because the return to daily life is usually quick.
